Gelwenton is a small-sized port town with a castle, a guildhouse, a church, a bank, an inn, and some farms around it. I built it about six months ago and decided that now is the time for it to be published. There are about 30 independent buildings within the town walls, all of them furnished.

♦ Castle

It is the seat of a local lord, who gets to view the sea, the town and the surrounding forests from the tall castle spires. In the courtyard there is a place for the lord's horse, and a guard area. Inside the castle there is a throne room ready for a feast.

♦ Port

In the port there are two ships waiting to be loaded with local goods like crops, fish and ores. They are rather small, and are pretty much repaired sunken ships that naturally spawn in Minecraft. There are many walkways that encompass most of the coast, even going as far as to the guildhouse. There is even a crane that is based on one from Gdansk, a Polish port town. Such crane can also be found in Novigrad (The Witcher III: Wild Hunt).

♦ Guildhouse

On the opposite side of the bay there is a large building with a clocktower. It is a place where adventurous mercenaries and treasure hunters reside and train. A training area for archers is located directly next to a table full of food. No reason to worry, nobody can get hurt unless an archer is shooting sideways. That would be lame. Below the cliff there is an eroded area that is being used as a port for the guild members.

♦ Church

The temple is based on the Holy Spirit Church from Toruń. Its more accurate rendition can be seen here. Behind it there is a small graveyard for the richest residents. The poor folks bury their dead around an undead-infested chapel in the forest. Yeah.

♦"The Ivy Towers" Inn

Last but not least, there is an inn. Its towers are covered in vegetation, hence the name. Three floors have are dedicated to all the drunk people, whereas both towers have rather cozy rooms on top.

♦The town also features a bank with many deposit boxes and a full treasury, a marketplace, and defense walls with a gatehouse based on the one from the castle of Feitoria from a game MORDHAU (2019).
