-THE TWILIGHT TEMPLE-
The twilight temple is an ancient structure build many centuries ago.
Nobody knows who made it.
Nobody knows its true purpose.
It was built within a sacred mountain, not against it.
From either side the rise of the sun and the setting of the moon shines through.
By day the stone bricks lay still and unscathed by the centuries.
By night, the true magic of the temple comes out to play under the light of the moon.
The legends say that an ancient magic is locked inside the very walls of the temple.
Some legends even tell of a way to talk to the moon itself...
Can you discover the ancient powers of the moon and the sun?
I created this map because I wanted to create some sort of temple-like build for people to appreciate that would also show off my building skills a little bit. I also wanted to try and push myself to see if I could create something of good quality. If anyone believe I have achieved this goal then please let me know in the comments.
This is basically a build but it has a small adventure map aspect to it. Explore the temple and see what secrets of ancient times that you can discover. I recommend playing with your brightness turned up all the way (the in game brightness that is) If it feels dimly lit well that is because I went to a lot of effort to try and create a build in which only the barest light is applied to guide you and still show off the true architecture of the temple.
To truly appreciate the map you should download it and look for yourself. The images do not do true justice to how nice this map really looks. For the full effect of this map use the latest snapshot (Or minecraft 1.4 once its out.)
