The Valley
An adventure and exploration themed world that takes place in a vast desert valley. There is no role playing element in the world itself, however there are two complex and unique cities with high populations. There are a number extremely tall pillars/plateaus in the desert, each with treasure at the very top as well as in the caverns below. There is one massive pillar at the far end of the valley, surrounded by trees. At the top of this pillar is a manor, which is a sort of exquisite tree house. At the bottom of the massive pillar there is an entrance to a very deep and long cave system, which is filled with mobs, and a bit of treasure at the end. There are a few secrets to be found in each city, and plenty of unique and beautiful examples of minecraft architecture. I have put a number of hours into this project, and it is my first attempt to make something presentable to the minecraft community. I am quite pleased with the results. I used WorldPainter, a program found here:

in creating the physical basis for the map, and then I went in and constructed the cities and intricate parts by hand in creative mode.
Mining and crafting are less necessary in this world, however still help. Never the less, this is a grand adventure. There is lots of loot to be found and used. Interesting hidden pockets of intrigue to find. Depths to plunge and mountains to claim. This world will take hours to fully explore, and it will be worth ever second of it.
