The Vigilant Keep

VK is my pride and joy here on Mineguild I've put months of work into it and many more to come. I hope to be sharing it with you all soon. If you've seen my builds they are rather good. And they're all one of a kind. They are all hand built by me, no imported MCedit schematics or anything like that you see other servers do. This is all the best exclusive builds I can make for the best server. I will not be uploading schems to PMC either it's all staying right here on Mineguild.
I've slowly started building homes for players to move into. Each home will be pretty decent in size Nothing smaller than 12x12. Most homes will be $5,000 so save up!
As the server population increases and we get more people playing regularly, I will be hiring VK city guards to keep the mobs off the streets at night, or fend off a rival cities soldiers O_o (we'll talk about that later
) VK has massive walls with a walkway that connects all the towers to be patroled. You good with a bow? I'll hire you as an archer for the walls.
There will be an Archery Range and an Archery Arena. Yes an Arena with a leader board and all, fight your way to the top of the chart with bows. This we be coming soon.
I have plans for a PvP Arena for you getallupinabrutha's face with a diamond sword kind of people but this we require me to build a brand new massive structure just for PvP so this won't happen for a while.
I have no plans for a spleef arena, but we'll see what everyone wants in the future.
I'll also be making several shops for those that like to do business, I have the armor shop up and ready to go. So if you sell swords, bows, and armor send me a message and we'll get you moved into the shop. Another shop to be opening up will be "The Butchers Blade", a food shop. An engineering shop will come into play at some point selling all your Redstone needs. And last "The Miners Mine" the shop for general blocks dirt, sand, cobble, etc.
Thinking about owning any of the above shops? Let me know and we'll get the shop going.
After all that did you still not see somthing you liked? Well then maybe this will get you. There will be 2 guilds to join here. Much like Skyrim, there will be the Dark brotherhood(pvp) and the Theives Guild. Yes stealing is against server rules, do not steal! I will explain how the theives guild will work at a later date.
Overall I hope to have somthing everyone will enjoy at the city.

* HOMES
- New home for sale, $3,000. First floor is the living area, eating table, bedroom. Attic for storage space accessed from the bedroom. Basement converted into crafting area, Forge (lava pit), furnace wall. Exit in the basement goes to the outside farm.
* PVP
- (Note: I'm currently waiting for the falsebook plugin for the gate controls to start the pvp matches, falsebook will allow me to open both Gold and Green warrior gates at the same time from a location off of the combat floor.)
- Up top I said I wouldn't do the pvp arena for a while, but I just a got a odd kick to start building it. So the ground floor where you fight at is being built now.
- The combat floor consist of 2 gates for 1v1 combat during the tournament. 2 warriors (Green Warrior and Gold Warrior) will face off in full diamond armor supplied by the Arena, both warriors will be given Iron swords along with the diamond armor. Why iron swords with diamond armor you ask? The iron swords with diamond armor is to ensure that the fight last longer than 3 seconds, and is enjoyable to the people watching in the seating area
(Note: theft of Arena supplied armor / weapons will be considered breaking the server no stealing rules and you will be delt with by staff, please return the armor/weps after combat.)
- The combat floor has traps built into it. I want the warriors to use the traps to maybe get an edge on the fight.
None of the traps are an "insta kill* they only do minor damage, unless you manage to get the opponet to run through the same trap several times.
- During the tournament fight your way to the top of the charts, 1st place gets bragging rights and $50,000 prize. You also get a permanent sign on the "Arena Wall of Fame" when I get it built. For all to see who the past champions are. Not during the tournament times the arena just becomes FFA.
