The Iyectan people use the Thor chassis in a whole lot of areas, some being:

COMBAT: Extra armour, extra cannons, dispenser arrays, not much comfort-Medium range
EXPLORATION: No cannons, wheat farm, maps, comfort galore-Long range
SCIENCE: Testing facilities, sample extracting system, laboratory, retains tri blaster-Medium range
MINING: Skydrill, massive cargo bay, no quarters-short range
