Map Pack updated!! Go get the new version!

New Map does not contain much new content, just a whole mass of bug fixes and the new note file format.

Embark upon an epic adventure among some of the provinces of Minecraftia and battle for your life and the fate of the world as you struggle against the Titans of Wrath.

This is an adventure map for Minecraft made by me, Cherub - with a little help from my server buddies too. I do all of the writing for the story and most of the building also. The idea is to have this finished sometime within the next couple of months, but its slow going due to exams and other commitments at the moment. There will be map packs being released to the public and right now there is one available to download so you can check it out for yourself!

Introduction Note:


Welcome to Stormreach, one of the most influential towns in all of the land! A once powerful political power the town lays dormant and nearly completely deserted. A terrible chill has started and closes down on Stormreach relentlessly. The moat is almost a solid sheet of ice and if it weren't for the mass of powerful magical cubes installed by the wizards of the Keep o unthinkable monsters could easily cross and breach the town walls. All the crops have failed and the wells are frozen shut, only the Pool of Eternity remains as the last water source in the entire town not to have succumbed to the icy grip. Many people prayed to the Gods when the chill first struck, but it seems that they have deserted us. Many suspect the evil ice titan Geezfrin to be the source of this plague. As the respected leader of Stormreach citizens look to you for advice, guidance and strength in such a dreadful time. Within weeks of the cold striking, you sent your best knights in command of your most loyal guards to seek help from the capital of the land; however it has been some months and not a word has been heard from them. Fearing the worse you leave your last remaining ally Saint Ciril in charge of Stormreach as you make a perilous journey to capital yourself. If the capital has fallen and the other towns are forsaken, Stormreach will fall and all hope shall be lost. It is up to you brave hero!

Secret Update:
I've been going through the map and added a few Secret Chests! They are in places which take a little skill or exploration to find, they can have anything from XP to a new shiny weapon or armour piece. There is currently one 'Super Secret' which requires some side quest equipment to assess.

SMP UPDATE - From what I have seen on a recent test on the Gralmond server there is no major bugs to report in SMP. There may be a few chests/signs with nothing on them. woop! :D

Additional Notes

The map is made in a specific texture pack (a version of Doku-craft). However most Doku crafts should look alright with it as well as any other with a shadowier theme. The only thing is the paintings may be a little bit odd. You will need to use the MCpatcher in order to use this custom Doku texture, but it is very straight forward.
