Toronto Hexagon Apartment - A dedicated project based on blueprint
Note that this is NOT my original idea, just a recreation of the work of someone else - property that I do not own, as it rightfully belongs to William(son)g group in the Design to Zero Competition. I stumbled upon their project online when searching for buildings based on the Hexagon structure, and I took the liberty of recreating it in Minecraft, dedicating it entirely to their efforts in the 2012 competition. I plan to do the same for other house plans. If you want to make a build request, private message me :D

FUN FACT: Hexagons are used by bees in to construct honeycombs in which each cell is compact enough to save cell space and reduce the consumption need for the main construction material: wax. Consuming eight ounces of honey is required to produce one ounce of wax - it's pretty expensive for a single bee.

- Nine hexagon compartments and three homes - One six-person apartment, one four-person apartment (upstairs), one two-person apartment
- Inclusion of washing machine areas, closets, outside decks and study room.
- Solar panel-tiled sun shade lining the sides of the houses.
- Grass-filled roofs with several urban windmills
- A shared roof area, complete with seating, barbecue and sink
- Variety of plants and trees around the house
- A shed, private seating area and parking area at the side of the house
