TOS-1AM 'Stikhiya' ('Element') is evolution of original TOS-1A, first tested in 2037. It was placed on modernized T-90M base, instead of T-72, for better speed and protection. The vehicle has 21 barrels, but rockets were enhanced to carry more thermobaric load. Also it is equipted by catapult for small UAVs launch. There is also a special munition crane, similar to TOS-2, so TOS-1AM doesn't require special reloading vehicle and able to take munitions from any carrier.

Base: modernized T-90M 'Proryv'
Main armament: 21-barrel launcher for 220mm 3TS4 TBS-4A thermobaric rockets.
Secondary armament: 5.45mm RPK-74M machine gun for crew self-defence; 6x AEK-902M 'Tucha-M' smoke grenades launchers; up to 15 hand grenades.
Protection: standard T-90M armor, 4K23 'Relikt-M' reactive armor.
Secondary equipment: munition crane, RK-4 UAV catapult, 4x stabilizers, 2x front intrenchment hoes.
Crew: 3 (driver, commander and operator).

Parts of system:
  1. BM-3 (Object 635) self-propelled launcher.
  2. Any armored munition carrier.
  3. 21x TBS-4A unguided thermobaric rockets.
