12/2/20: Final update, all I did was add a global map in a basement next to the airfield below the radio antenna. That's all, see yall later.

NOTE: THIS MAP WASNT ORIGINALLY MINE, IT WAS FIRST CREATED BY EXTRACACTUS BUT I TOOK OVER AND OVERHAULED IT

So what is this? Well this was a traincraft map made by ExtraCactus in 2012 with 2D rails, and an older version of traincraft, I've actually overhauled this before but it never had a download because I never knew how to make a download option so it was just a bunch of pictures and description. But this time it's different. I felt like the amount of traincraft maps with 4.20+ rails and downloads were sparse/not up to par with my standards, I decided one day to remake my previous project using ExtraCactuses map and this time, set the bar a little bit higher, at this point it's been reworked so much you can't even tell it's his map. I hope you enjoy!

Starting basically from scratch I completely redid ExtraCactuses map by:
  • Removing all the basic rails from Minecraft to new 4.20+ Traincraft rails
  • Made the gravel/ballast 3x3 and not 1x1 to look nice
  • Redone/Completely redesigned new bridges
  • Made the tracks instead of a single track to a double track
  • Redesigned the tunnels
  • Added a few new railroad lines
  • Added multiple stations on the line
  • Increased vegetation to all biomes around the railroad
  • Overhauled all stations on the main line
  • Revamped the towns to look nicer
  • Added coal bins and water towers
  • Added cosmetic signals
  • Added a roundhouse, engine shed, turntable, and railyard(s)
  • Added a Zepplin/Airship helipad
  • A random train wreck
  • Added boats to the water to add some liveliness
  • Added a hidden base near Aberdale Yard
  • Added large water towers at multiple stations and destinations
  • Added a massive wheat farm
  • Added 2 Grade crossings along the main route
  • Added 2 airfields and a military base.
  • Added multiple vehicles such as aircraft and cars.

I downloaded the map and all the mods (including Optifine and MC-Heli) but when I try to launch the map, it brings up the missing files/assets. Only about 50-60 so I launch it anyways since I've launched maps with thousands of missing assets just fine. But it crashes during loading. All the missing files/assets were from MC-Heli.

Restart the map download, this time dont have MC-Heli installed. Thats why I put it as optional, the map has airfields but thats not the core part of the map so you dont really need it unless youre interested in that. Ill look into it though

Hi! Is it possible that you could make a map of the line? Like the ones in the signal boxes, but complete—Of the whole railroad. It would really help me get an idea for how I could run trains or maybe even add additions.

Update: I posted a map key in the last photo for the image gallery and ill update the download to feature an underground base with the map near the airfield at spawn later.
