The U.S.S. Alvarez is my attempt at a new class of starship in the same style of those on the popular sci-fi franchise Star Trek, specifically the style present in The Next Generation. The goal of this build is to create a full scale ship complete with all of the rooms, mechanics, and furnishings that would be present on one.
The ship is currently home on Minetrek 2 (50.46.235.61:17011), the server currently housing the popular full scale U.S.S. Enterprise D, as well as other Star Trek related projects. It currently measures 265W x 311L x 64H and contains 4 decks (10 decks are planned) and still requires furnishings on all decks except the first.
The ship is built using several techniques. The hull is mainly using world edit as well as much of it being built by hand. The deck floors are drawn, then imported via Omen and used as floor plans to build walls by hand.
