The hull was hand made one block at a time. It is not accurate to a 3d hull version that many people have used.
I decided to try my hand at making a Defiant class USS San Palo. Here is my first attempt at it. While this is going to be an ongoing work in progress, it is for the most part complete. It has 5 decks, is fully explorable. The ship is smaller than most Starfleet ships therefore there is only 2 blocks per deck say for deck 1. Its a tight fit. The deck plans are closely matched to those of Strategic Designs deck plans. Exploring the ship can be a bit confusing at first. The narrow decks kind of give one a sense of being on a sub. Deck 5 can only be accessed via Deck 4. Deck 1 - 4 can be accessed by each other. There are two versions in the world save, one with landing gear and aft boarding ramp down, and one in space flight mode.

"The USS Defiant (NX-74205), originally the USS Sao Paulo (NCC-75633), was a Federation Defiant-class escort that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century. The Defiant was assigned to Deep Space 9 in the final weeks of the Dominion War. This starship was one of at least three Federation starships to carry the name Defiant, and the second Defiant-class ship to bear the name."
The USS Intrepid has been the longest build I have been involved with to date. The Nova builds were all works of love as I learned the process and eventually refined my style of ship building. I have considered making other ships from other sci-fi series but haven't gotten around too really deciding on any yet.
