The USS New Jersey is an Iowa-class Battleship.
She was ordered on the 1st 1939, and launched on the 7th December 1942.
Just over 5 months after that, she was commissioned into the US Navy as the 2nd Iowa-class.
She spent a total of 21 years in the active US Navy Fleet, where she earned 19 battle stars, which is more than the rest of the class.
She is currently preserved as a museum ship in New Jersey,
