On the fifth screenshot, are the black question marks on red background redstone?

I'm guessing its a custom texture pack?

It BlandCraft, and yes. Its a pretty nasty disgusting pack, but it got me a few extra FPS while I was working with the first few adders we built. Note that this is Casey, and when we were working on a vanilla server after the restart of UTD, we had to make everything by hand. I helped out with building the adders, expanding the platforms, and building the XOR's required for subtraction. This was very hard to do with the default texture pack, as I was working off of my laptop. I have since been using default, as I rarely do grunt work anymore

Hope this answered your question.
