Hey there ! I present you my new terraform, Valley of Ember. I particulary like this terraform for the little time it took me to do it: just 15 min.

Terraform features



The map is completely made with worldpainter.

It is 1024 X 1024 , as usual in my terraforms. I was inspired by some of the terraforms that have been posted recently, like Heimdal by TheMcVikings.

The valley was made for people who wants to build on it, so feel free to use it as you want, but always keep in mind the credit for the map. Thanks.

Just throwing this out there, a map made with worldpainter is a custom terrain, given that the program is an interactive world generator. A terraform is generally made in-game (or atleast it is mostly made in game), otherwise a great map, dia for you! :)

Well, that's true, but to call it shorter I say terraform to everything, and it doesn't seem that people criticise me for that. If I had to show this as a custom generated terrain, it would sound worse. Thanks :)

I rendered this in Chunky, and it looks really wonderful! Almost realistic :D
May I ask what brushes you used? I'm sure you installed custom brushes, and it would be awesome if you could link me to a picture or send the picture or whatever per PM. If not, no worries :)
And, another question, may I use this map for one of my future projects? I will give you full credit with a link to the map and to your profile, for sure. :D

Well oakley, I 'm happy that you like my map . It is awesome that people like it so much that decide to build on it :3 As for the custom brushes, I normally use a ton ( I think I've got 30 custom brushes XD ) If I find what I used most on this map, I 'll show you via PM :)

Go look up imbilio timelapse on youtube. He has a video with a DL to some great custom brushes that will serve your needs.
