"Vardena is a city of warriors, a city of strong people built to survive in the trials of cold winters and scarce game. Built into the mountainside of an ancient valley, this port city has many trade routes with the rest of civilization despite it's remote location. The people of the city hunt exotic animals found nowhere else in the known world and uses these spoils to exchange for the goods they need to survive. In the past the people of Vardena have turned to viking-esque pillaging of smaller towns and villages, however they are now a peaceful settlement."
