How To Create

  1. Create New World
    • World Type: Flat
  2. Save and Quit after the world generates
  3. Download and Install Universal Minecraft Editor
  4. Select "Windows 10", then your save
  5. Select "World Settings"
  6. Scroll down to ”FlatWorldLayers” and remove the biomes so that it looks like {"biome_id":1,"block_layers":[],"encoding_version":6,"structure_options":null,"world_version":"version.post_1_18"}
  7. Save and exit the editor
  8. Open the save folder (in com.mojang/minecraftWorlds)
  9. Delete the db folder's content and the level.dat_old file
  10. Start the level and double-jump to fly
  11. Enter the command /tp 0 64 0
  12. Enter the command /setblock 0 63 0 grass
  13. Exit the world
  14. Select the edit icon, scroll down, and export
  15. Re-Edit the save in Universal Minecraft Editor to your liking (difficulty, cheats off, etc).
  16. (Back in Minecraft) Select the edit icon, scroll down, and export

    Definitely! I use it as the base for all my sky builds (SkyBlock, OneBlock, etc.).

    Hi, do you have info about messing with structure_options? My guess is we can add generated structures eg villages and it'll generate in the sky, but I don't know the proper format.

    For that sort of thing I use https://misode.github.io/worldgen/ like in my Build Below Bedrock datapack.
