A simple tower that functions as a way point, guards tower, and safe haven for travelers at night. Typicaly these small towers (which can be anywhere from one to four floors) would be placed along well traveled trade routs to protect them from hostiles.
In survival, these simple structures are easy enough to assemble (minus the bell) and not very resource heavy, with the most costly portion being cooking of stone for making stone bricks.
To build you will need:
Base of tower: (edit)
Ramparts (top)
Top floor: Only applicable in 3 and 4 high towers (Edit)
Construction is fairly easy, the only tricky part is the ramparts which will either require scaffolding or a good sneak skill.
Each floor is 6x6 circle, when building the ladder use the trap doors to off set it 1 block from the back wall and the stair on the next floor to attach it to the trapdoors below. This can be tricky if one doesn't plan placement ahead so if your kinda forgetfull just carry an extra easy to destroy block for temporarily filling the ladder gap to align the stair.
Placement would be 1-2 floor towers in open planes and 3-4 floor towers in forested areas.
Current to dos:
.nbt structure files for all four towers for those who just want to drop them into a world build without the hassle of building them themselves.
