For this project, I'm building the floor maps from Wolfenstein 3D!

I'm currently on Episode 1, and it's coming along pretty nicely so far. :)

I've obviously had to make some concessions, such as the way the doors work, but I think it works well.

I'd hoped to add monsters as guard stand-ins, but I'm not sure how, or if it's even possible.
I dropped a skeleton into the middle cell, but he disappeared when I reloaded the map later, so I stuck a skull and a spider web inside instead.

I've learned a lot since I started this.
I'll eventually be able to add "guards", and I've learned how to manipulate armor stands, so I can do so much more than just throwing a few skulls into cells!

I'm having a lot of fun with this one! :)

And in case anyone is wondering, I am still working on my TARDIS and Optimus Prime projects.

So if i got that right you had a problem with a despawning skeleton? I dont know if you still want to fix that problem but if you give the skeleton a name (with a nametag or an anvil) it will not despawn.

I hope i could help.

The problem was that there's supposed to be a skeleton in the middle cell at the beginning of the map, but I had no idea at the time how to do it so I tried just dropping a Minecraft skeleton in the cell, but it despawned when I reloaded the level.

I've since then learned how to manipulate and pose armor stands, and I actually just finished building a skeleton in that cell, as well as piles of bones and a skeleton lying on the floor in the others!

However, thanks to your input, I now know how to keep other monsters from despawning if/when I start adding enemies to the map. :)

Thanks! It took forever to get it positioned right. And then I eventually realized (while playing Wolf3D to check some details in the real game) that his head should be pointed toward the door! :-P
