There are a few floorplans of the asylum, they might contain useful information. There are a lot of machines in the asylum that need electricity to function, not to mention that it's a lot easier to see things when the lights are on.



Floor I - Extraction Laboratory

This lab was used for experiments, and sometimes the staff needed to be reminded of their responsibilities. There seem to be 2 empty glass containers connected to a strange machine, perhaps the experiment needs to be completed. Look around and see if you can find any appropriate subjects.




Floor II - Pharmacy Lab

There seems to be an empty brewing stand here, some kind of vial might need to be placed in it. It also looks like one of the valves is missing. You might need to look around the asylum to find it.



Floor III - Gas Storage A-B

It looks like there is some sort of gas in these tanks, and an empty gas canister on the floor. Maybe you need to fill up the empty canister and see what happens. There might be another place to deposit the gas from your canister, everything here is old though so the tanks might not be able to hold the pressure for too long.



Floor I - Library

It looks like all the busts of doctors and surgeons have been knocked from their pedestals. It might be a good idea to put them back in their proper places, if you can figure out wich bust goes where.



Floor III - Elevator Power Regulator

It looks like something is missing from the device, red, green and blue wires are sticking out. You might need to look around the asylum to find the component needed to repair it, but it's possible that you can't reach it just yet and should move on for now.



Basement

Due to years of neglect it looks like a part of the basement has flooded. There might be a way to activate the pumps and drain the water, altough it does seem that a lot of the pipes and valves have rusted and you might not be able to turn them without the proper equipment. Look around and see if you can find anything useful.
