yo, I'm semi-new to the Minecraft building community, and I wanted to ask: Why do so many people on these sorts of sites spend 20+ hours on a build and not release it to the public? I've wanted to build so many things, but they aren't ever public (not just you. I've looked at probably 45+ builds, and like 95% aren't public). Is there a specific reason? I get that sometimes it doesn't look great/the inside isn't done, but I just don't get it tbh.



Not pressuring you to release builds. I'm just confused. I've tried to search for if they have some sort of patreon and that's why, but many just don't. Any insight on why many creators don't release on sites like these?

(My English is not good, I use a translator to write this) For me, the reason for not making files public is because of the possibility that someone will use files without attributing the author, or even stealing the work, so my new large files will not be publicly downloaded, but my small boat will be publicly downloaded, and I don't know what other people think. I'll be sad to see a work that took so long treated like this : )
