It's nice to see a clear disticntion between the two woods but I believe there is a wood type in between (Spruce). So why didn't you incoorporated that one? I am just curious.

For the rest, good luck in the contest although you're competition!

Two things: 1. I dont like the dull color of spruce wood in comparison to the vibrant chocolate color of dark oak. 2. I like the contrast between dark oak and oak (or Quartz for that matter), the colors just really seem to compliment each other whereas the colors of spruce and birch just don't seem to work well with other materials in my projects. That doesn't mean I'm not willing to use them from time to time its just not my preference. Thank you for the comment eagoy!
