--Caves--
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yarowyn has more than 50 caves. The easiest way to find out where these are and what they look like is by having a scroll through the photo album https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1845404485710194.1073741840.1383300031920644&type=1&l=4a14330ebf
Just check the description of the photo for the co-ordinates of the cave (you might have to dig a little bit)

Hi, I have a little problem actually but with a huge scale on MC. Everything east of x coordinate 1023 is just ocean. The landscaping just stops there. I don't think that's normal. Everything west of that is all normal and it's an awesome map. Can anyone help? I think it has someting to do with the unpacking of the .zip file. I have to unpack it because it doesn't work at all if I don't.

EDIT: If I extract it with winrar it says the file is corrupt and if I unpack it with 7-Zip, what normally works, Yarowyn\region\r.14.2mca is an error or how you call that in English sorry.

You need to re-download the map. Large zip files sometimes have issues with downloading and just randomly skip bits :-/ causing corruption.

Hi, i'm slowly driving myself insane trying to load this up. Sorry if i sound PO'd, but ive been at this for 3 days and literally created an account here for the sole purpose of trying to clear this up.

Basically, I had no problem with the map DL or the ConquestReforged DL. Dropped the Yarowyn folder into Saves, and CR launched fine and loaded the new MC homepage with everything looking intact. All good so far. But once i went to Singleplayer I had no worlds. no Demo, no old projects, no Yarowyn.

Checked save folder, all the data was still there. Close/reloaded everything. Still nothing. did the 'delete DAT file and rename old DAT file to replace it" trick. Nada. Then I went back to both your video and the CR install video, and noticed you had your .minecraft folder moved into a new CR folder that the CR launcher was also in. OK, that's gotta be it! Nope, still nothing. Maybe it can only use the new shaders? deleted/moved all other shaders and texture packs out of .minecraft. Still nothing. (can probably tell i was running short on ideas at that point lol!) Maybe i need to download something further? nope, already got optifine and no place says i need more than that and CR to run Yarowyn. Maybe i should just launch minecraft without CR? (clearly out of sensical options) but AHA! says theres a new 1.12 update(thought thats what i already had installed though....) thats GOTTA be the problem!

load the update, end up in normal minecraft homepage for the first time in 2 1/2 days since starting this endeavor and there are NO world saves in this anymore too! so now i'm basically locked out of everything i've done so far, cant load this new awesome map that i'm dying to play, and the only possible options left are that ive somehow overlooked something fundamental, or some corruption occured in either .minecraft itself, optifine, or there was an inherent error in either CR or the map zip.

At this point i'm ready to just delete it all then reinstall it all. Hell, at this point i'm ready to stop halfway through that plan and cry softly into my pillow. So if anyone here could just, idk, show me how all of the folders should be 'russian-dolled" inside eachother or something you'd be my own personal savior. Like i said at the beginning, sorry if i'm a bit salty, purely due to frustration and not the awesome & helpful community for this game! Cheers.

EDIT: also one weird thing, when i try and unpack the Yarowyn.zip i get an "interrupteed action" window for r.0.0.mca

hmm could be different problems for you. first try making sure your directory for minecraft is correct. to do so load up minecraft to the main menu. then go to launch options there you'll probably have different saves. click the one with your conquest mod from. now make sure the version is correct and go down to the game directory. what i would recommend doing is changing your directory to your deskop folder so you can place your conquest stuff in it. it'll be less hassle. next i would change the jvm arguments to more than a gig depending on your computer. after that click save and locate that exact same thing you saved. then load it
if that dont work message me. also that window for r.0.0 usually is a chunk error.

Thanks for the response! Always had a shortcut to the minecraft directory on my desktop from Day 1, thankfully :). Also opened the main menu, and the first thing i notced is the big green "play" button no longer has the arrow for the dropdown menu to select optifine. also opened Launch options and it was empty, just one tab for 1.12 that i already downloaded, possibly twice now.

Also wait, my conquest stuff goes in my minecraft folder? i've seen it the other way around on both turorials. and even then, where in the directory do i put it?

Lastly I"ll be honest i have no idea what a JVM is let alone how to lower or raise it. but assuming nothing else is the issue i'll just google that myself. Good to hear the r.0.0 thing isnt a big issue though!

idk at this point i'd gladly just give my MC user/pass to someone and pay them to set this up. Shaders/texturepacks/optifine and even changing the images of each element were stuff i could figure out just fine, but this is beginning to approcach "more trouble than my $26 to mojang were worth" territory :(

EDIT: i'm just gonna assume the scorched earth policy on this one and delete/uninstall MC, Opti, CR, and Yaro and redownload it all.

what i would do is reinstall minecraft with 1.10.2 since that is the only version conquest reforged is updated to. aswell as have your folders super organised on the desktop somewhere for safe keeping.

the optifine and shaders are easy since optifine has shaders installed directly inside it. all you really need is forge to run conquest reforged. and the jvm arguments are for ram dedicated towards minecraft. it'll help out heaps with loading the 6k blocks and other things inside. but if you want you can message me and i can give you clear step by step instructions. or if you have skype i can screenshare exactly what you need.

So does this absolutely have to have Conquest Reforged to be used. I have been looking for a beautiful map to use for a Pixelmon server.

I can't explain how much I love this map.. aaa
It made it fun to build again!! Like, I'm even writing lore for it (for personal use, of course, it's your map, hehe. I just love making some history for my builds) and I just.. love building on it.

Thank you so much for sharing this!!!

This is a wonderful map and i am building on it already, just one question though, how would I go about creating a server for me and my friends to build on together using conquest? I tried various tutorials but none seem to work...

Nillere hit it on the head with his comment, you need a forge server with the conquest mod on it. Youtube is the best place on how to setup a forge server.

My best guess is you'd probably need a tool that can handle mods in multiplayer, like MCForge. There are tons of guides on how to set it up on youtube :)
I was wondering what your policy for this was regarding uploading builds that have been made on this map by others. For example, if a someone made a castle in one of the mountain ranges and wanted to upload it to PMC, would that not be allowed, would they have to give credit, or would it be something entirely different?

Damn, this is pretty neat! I can't wait to get my hands dirty with this one.

Also, is it by any chance possible to get the .worldpainter file to make my own personal changes? There's a few places I'd like to change around and play with, and it's much less of a hassle in WP :)

Sorry man, the world painter file is the only real proof (apart from the hours of streaming) that I have of me having created the map.

You can use world painter to open up a pre-existing map and edit it from there.

Thanks man, Love your stuff :-)
Pretty awesome map! Really great ideas for various biomes! Nice job!
I just tried to spawn at different locations and I'd like to report 1 or 2 errors.
- I've noticed some missing chunks and I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this problem (I know it's a recurrent bug in MC worlds but you might forgot to export these chunks). It's from about x: 4613, z: 2565 to x: 5114, z: 5114.
- There's a spot where the transition between the biomes (plains/swamp and savanna) looks awkward (x: 475, z: 2600).

Anyway, this map compiles every biomes I'll need, especially your very inspiring custom biomes. So for this, thank you A LOT!

Thanks for the comment:

Issue 1 - Just had a look at the area and all the chunks are there for me with the blocks. I'm hoping the download is ok as I know minecraft maps can get corrupted sometimes on upload. I'll dl the map from mediafire and check it's ok for this area.

Issue 2 - Yeah....my bad on that it looks like I didn't re-biome that area and smooth it in :-( Darn it!

Glad you like the large amounts of biomes ;-)
Thanks for your quick reply. I just DL the map again and the chunks are there so the upload is OK, fortunately.

Once again, thank you for putting this huge map for download! I think it might become a classic for fantasy maps in the future.
Wow that's so amazing!

I've spend hours to explore the whole map since i downloaded it.

Will do, I've been trying to learn WP for ages and your streams help a lot. I love your caribbean biome btw :P.

Ps I haven't checked if you did this but you can add custom Biomes in WP so that when you press F3 it will say things like 'Caribbean' instead of the normal 'Plains' or whatever.
