as an active minecraft speedrunner, I was banned 8 minutes after joining because I found someones abandoned strip mine and got a vein of 6 diamonds. I made a diamond pick and a diamond axe and continued mining trying to find lava to make a nether portal, was immediately banned for xraying simply because I had diamond tools 8 minutes in. my current speedruns are in the 22min are and 8 minutes for a diamond pick is not unusual or "hacker" status. didn't even get to the nether yet.
