Come one, come all! I'm glad you were able to find the server!

We are a "new", community-ran, Minecraft server! I put emphasis on new since this is the revamped version of the server! We have tons of things to offer for being an SMP server! Join today to start ranking up, earning permissions, unlocking cosmetics, earning custom music discs, chatting with the community, or even PVP! We are a Java server running 1.20.4 and don't need any sort of mod or client to join.

General Concept For Server:




When you first join Dodo MC, you should start off in a small tutorial area that tells you some of the perks about the server. Once completed, you will be prompted to return to spawn. When you're in spawn, I recommend checking out the Ranks area and figuring out what all you have access to as a new player. After you've done that, go ahead and get comfortable with the rest of spawn. You should be comfortable knowing where the daily lootcrates are and the cosmetic mystery box.




When you're comfortable with the layout of spawn, you can either use /menu and click RTP, or run the /rtp command. This is where you can finally start your own survival build! Start earning money by selling any extra resources to shop with /sel or /menu. Once you've hit $25k and 10XP levels, you can rankup to member and start unlocking more permissions!




Each rank requires more money, xp, kills, or items than the last, so always make sure you have extra in case you need it. You can complete requirements before you get to the rank, meaning that if you need to kill 500 zombies, you can kill the 500 before you reach the required rank.




If you're short on money and are feeling extra risky, there is a new Casino set up in Spawn that you can try and make money at. Some gamemodes are Singleplayer while others are Multiplayer. Please pay attention to this when reading about the game after you've opened the menu! Also, each machine is tied to a specific gamemode. This means that you'll have to explore the machines in Spawn to find what machine is that gamemode.




Please don't forget to claim your land either. If you place a chest in a new piece of land it should automatically place a small claim around it. You can expand this claim using a golden shovel. This will prevent other players from being able to build inside the claim or open any chests. Players will need trust to build, open chests, interact, however you have it set up is how it works! Staff will not be able to help you if you get griefed because your land was not claimed!




Other than that, keep earning money and ranking up. You can unlock features like mirroring blocks while building, overpowered armor and tool sets, some worldedit commands, crafting table/ smithing table/ grindstone anywhere, and so much more. I hope you enjoy your stay on Dodo MC!
