Important Server information: READ

1. All players must be using a medieval skin while on the server.
(If you don't know how to set up a skin, post a comment on here and I'll walk you through it!)
2. Do not use client side modifications or game exploits to cheat.
3. Do not build/use monster farms/grinders. (Arenas are fine however)
4. If you plan on building your own hamlet/village/town/city/etc please do so a biome away from the nearest one.
5. Do not use the global or market chat channels for your personal conversations.
6. TEMPORARY RULE: Player combat at the capital is not allowed, even though it's enabled at the moment!
7. When you join the server type "/tell Akrucious (The class you want to be)" Example: "/Tell Akrucious Adventurer"
(I'll tell you to reconnect, log out of the server, and connect back to it to obtain your new class!)

Brief server information: (You should read this too)

1. To talk in the global & market chat channels type either "/global your message" or "/market your message"
2. To leave a chat channel type "/leave (The channel you wish to leave)" Example: "/leave global"
3. To privately message someone on the server type "/tell (Player name) (Message)" Example: "/Tell Akrucious Hi"
4. Gold nuggets are the servers currency, they're used to purchase items & land.
5. To initiate a trade with an NPC/Player simply right click them.
6. The server is set to hard mode, this means you will starve to death if you do not eat, and monsters hurt a lot.
7. To rent land, simply right click a sign that has the word "Available" on land that is up for rent. (This costs nuggets)
8. Player combat & thievery are allowed on this server. So, beware! (There are non combat areas/cities!)
9. There are many custom crafting recipes on the server for things such as saddles, chain mail, etc.
10. There are a total of forty five classes players are designated to based on their medieval skin.
11. If you are banned, you can appeal it by emailing Support@Dynamious.com
12. You do get your bucket back when you use a bucket of lava in a furnace
13. Monster spawners are able to be obtained by mining them with any type of pickaxe.
14. The server does support Spout it is however not necessary to play on the server.
15. Due to the issues with portals on servers Nether Gates can't be made, however, there is ONE on the server.

17. The server is set to white list mode when the moderators & administrators are offline to avoid rule breakers.
18. You can rank up once on the server for free, once you get this first rank you can rent land on the server.

20. We never spawn items or use creative mode, this is a purely survival server. We NEVER spawn items!
21. For detailed information on how you purchase land to protect it, type "/res ?"
22. The server does have working chairs, to sit, place a sign on either side of a stair, then crouch & right click it.
23. Giants have a small chance of spawning instead of a normal zombie. They hit a lot harder and have 100 health.
24. There are many levels on the server ranging from combat, to gathering & skill related. The max level is 100.
25. You must level up to use better tools/weapons/armor & gather higher level material as well as craft them.
26. For information on your levels, type "/level (skillname)" Example: "/level mining"

Detailed server information:

The Dynamious Minecraft server is online constantly, it is hosted on a powerful server machine dedicated to nothing but this specific Minecraft server. The server can support hundreds of individual players online simultaneously with very little to no noticeable lag whats so ever. The server is located on the west side of the United States. The server is themed in a medieval/fantasy thirteenth century styled era. Unlike nearly all servers the server is a purely legitimate survival map which means we do not spawn items, use game modifications to cheat, or exploit glitches. There is a lot of custom content on our server that allows players to be able to craft & obtain things that they wouldn't normally be able to such as nether brick, saddles, chain mail, monster spawners, mossy cobblestone, cobblestone brick, cracked cobblestone brick, cobwebs, and everything else in between that exists in Minecraft. We are always working on adding new gaming content to our server to give players a lot more to while playing on our server. Some of the things we're looking to implement with server are more monsters, horses, more food, more building blocks, a way to make redstone take up much less space, more minerals, more armor, weapons, & tools, another use for levels, boss fights, and such. The server has world backups saved daily on an external hard drive as well as a virtual storage unit to ensure that if anything does happen to the server/the machine it's running on there will be no loss to the work you put into it.

There are a total of fifteen ranks, twelve of which are progressable for every player on the server. The ranks are there to give players a larger feeling of progression while playing Minecraft. Players can do everything they could normally do in Minecraft with the lowest rank on the server, however, when you rank up you gain access to things such as ownable land, shops, and even the ability to appoint NPC's as traders, guards, & citizens of your city. To rank up, you simply donate, it's 5$ a rank up. Donations help support the server & keep it up & running. You start out as a newcomer, you can then get to rank 1 for free which allows you to rent land and protect your items in those chests as long as you continue to rent that land.

The server is set to hard mode, this means that you can & will starve to death if you do not eat, monsters will hurt you a lot more than on easier modes.

Ranking up:
When you join the server you're given a default rank which is known as rank 0 (Zero) all players are given one free rank, this is rank 1 (One) this rank allows you to rent land to protect your items, you can only rent land from someone that has land up for rent, when you rent their land, no one but you can use anything in that section of land but you. To rank up beyond the first given rank you have to donate 5$ per rank. When you first donate you get white listed to the server so that when moderators & administrators are offline you can log in. Higher ranks can also own more land, which may be used for whatever purposes those players so choose. Only someone that donated can physically own land, others can just build on un-purchased land.

Buying land allows players to own a section of land which prevents it from being destroyed by griefers, explosions, & weather. Owning land also gives you full control over who can & can not build in your land. Ranks up to captain have to pay a weekly tax on their land to ensure they still play on the server & want that land. If a player quits, the land they own will eventually go up for grabs by anyone. If you do not want to keep the land you currently own you can always sell & give up the land you own. Ranks above mayor physically own their land so that they don't have to pay taxes on it, however, to ensure that they're still playing they will have to renew the land they own on a monthly basis. The reason they have to do it only once a month is because these ranks can own large sections of land which may be used by other players as well as them.

Players with the rank of citizen and higher all have the ability to purchase land using gold nuggets (The servers currency) each player can only own one main section of land, the size of which is dependent on your rank. Ranks up to captain can own moderator sized houses where as mayors and higher can own large sections of land. Mayors & higher can create sub zones within the land they own to give other players on the server sections where they can buy & rent for their own use.

Unlike in normal Minecraft once you place a bucket of lava inside something to use it as fuel, you obtain the bucket back, without the lava.

Structures must be built using pillars and such to support blocks above it. If a block is too far away from a pillar, it will fall down due to gravity. This means buildings must be created logically & realistically in order for the roofing to stay atop the building. This also means while mining you must mine carefully to avoid cave-ins and such.

There are many custom crafting recipes on the game for items you can't normally create/obtain. An example of this would be nether brick. You can obtain nether brick by mining it from a stronghold in the nether, but you can't normally craft netherrack into nether brick. On our server, things like this can be crafted. Some of the things you can make are saddles, chainmail armor, cobblestone bricks, cracked bricks, you can also cook glowstone into redstone and vice versa on our server as well.

Players are not allowed to create Nether portals on the server, this isn't a rule, it is just physically impossible for them to. The reason we have it so players can't create Nether portals is because the latest portal created always becomes the exit portal. This ends up in people teleporting all over the map due to weird mechanics. The server does have a Nether portal up & open for everyone to use, players just can't create their own. The portal lies within the depths of a forgotten mine filled with enemies surrounding the hottest of lavas.

We do broadcast live game play content on our website frequently, there are many members of the community to do so on a regular/daily basis, so there is usually always a live video up. We also post when we're broadcasting, done broadcasting, and are having special events. We do not spam you with mediocre/meaningless posts & announcements.
