If you are on mobile i dont think you can join online servers from the internet. there are apps in the app store or google play that have servers plug pocket mine and plug for pocketmine. they have a bunch of free servers you can play on (free i mean after you pay $3 for the app) but its worth it they have active chats and different kinds of servers its really fun!
Go into the minecraft game, click multiplayer, click "Add Server" in the Server address box, type in: EDawg878.com Then click add. Then double click the server to join.

Lol, I feel bad for Edawg... it used to be a good server but now there's Creative Fun. I remember when back in the day Edawg878 had like 500+ player's a day. Now they can barely get 50 during midnight (the time when people play MC the most). Then again. I got banned for just messing around with people lol and they banned so many people that now they've run outta players. lmao. What a funny story. Not the best creative server. Used to be. RIP.
This server is one of the best out there that I've tried for building and such. Honestly. I've played on this server for around 3 years round and its popularity has fallen HOWEVER, the staff is super supportive and interactive. The players on the server are usually incredibly nice and are very accepting of all things.
The server has tons of possibilities for building such as; Rps, Regular building, Buildbattles, Amazing opportunities for build teams. The people are often times open and up to talk about mostly anything. The server is also childfriendly!
But it has its down sides as well. It can be a bit laggy at some times but only sometimes. Some of the voting links for w/e don't work but staff knows which ones do so its really not an issue.
Best server ever. These staff i will give an extra special thanks to.

school_zone: This mod i have known even before he was mod. We we both apart of this little mod compition and we were both anxious to see who got in. We were friends on forums. I went to his plot and we talked about this friendly compititon of Edawg's and I believed he would have won and i was right!!! He believed in me and even though i didnt win, he probobly doesnt remeber me exactly but ill always enjoy his time here on this server as apart of the staff team. Thank you school_zone

EDawg does come on the server, RARELY. its only because of how much work and control over the server. He has to do so much for the server so he might not even be on for a year (doubt it but it may happen).
To Edawg, Brit, any other Staff members & that have helped the server get to it's awesom quality of which it is at right now. I thank you all so much for your amazing work & the time you put into the server as I know that quite a few of you have to go to school as well as help out the server which is was (or probably was) a 100% personal decision that us as players are glad that you have made because with out you, Edawg mightn't be a server at all with out all your help so once again, I thank you all of you.
-Voting 3 times gives you worldedit for a promised 24 hours. You get it for one hour, only a few links work while 2 credits might be promised and you get one. -Plots are said to be 512x512. According to worldedit measures, it is 506x506. Measure it yourself.
-80% of the time, tps is below 1.
-NO ABUSIVE STAFF!! :D. Very helpful staff
Rather than that, amazing server!! I play on it very often! 9/10! Many things to have fun with for HOURS... Rps (no- like home to the rps!), Skin comps, and all that! Amazing- just amazing
Sorry about the lag, we recently did a major update and we have a few minor issues to figure out. When the server is nearing its maximum capacity it can get a little laggy, weekends mostly.
I wasn't aware of the voting issue, I will look into it. The voting should be unlocking for 24 hours unless there is a restart.
Looking to improve things with the lag soon.

Also, are aware that the plots are not 512x512. Worldedit says it's 506x506 As well as every 30min, whatever you built gets destroyed, and if it's a lot, plot blocks will change (redwool-> blackwool)
PLEASEE OMG 18th time I lost half my plot!! PLEASE FIX THIS (the server crashes and rollbacks)!! Also, if you're unaware, many people are leaving the server because of this.
A while back, I , Turtlecreeper123, got banned for something that i could've removed right away (it was a giant W.E sphere that i didnt know i made [i was trying to make a glass sphere on a rp plot as my base {im not great at W.E} i didnt know the glass sphere id, so i tried 1 different one before, and thought it didnt work, but eventualy it, the giant wooden sphere appeared , i thought , as it was slowly spawning, that someone was building wood in my sphere, So I DID NOT know that it was mine, that i made it.) if i was giving the chance, but the plot owner (murphyminecraft) was certain and wrong, that i did it on purpose and would not let me explain or give me a chance to remove it {i hoped a mod would see and let me clean up the sphere} , refusing to belive that a W.E structure could be removed.i have never griefed before, and this was accidental]
Please Unban me, and sorry about the super long explantion and reasoning, but it is the truth and only way to tell it.
