F:OWB is a minecraft server project that aims to bring you a Fallout* RP experience that's "The Tops!"
The Fallout franchise is a unique Post-Apocalyptic game series with a 50's sci-fi twist, that combines ingenious character creation with unparalleled gameplay. The game's universe has always been rich with fantastical lore, and the RPG style of gameplay allows the player to advance the game's plot and shape events in whatever way they choose. The F:OWB server will attempt to emulate that, combining mods and plugins to create the ultimate RPG experience, and allowing players to choose their paths and have their own hand in shaping the future of the wasteland.

Soft Release Specific Ruleset

o In the absence of SPECIAL, we are using heroes for player classes. Each class is modeled after a SPECIAL attribute, except for luck. (Strength, Perception,
o Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, and Agility). Choose one, then request it from an Admin.
o If you cannot see / speak in a chat, do "/ch g" for global and "/ch l" for local.
o Factions must invite you before you can join, this is because you have to apply and be approved by the leader on our forum site. If there are no faction mods or leaders online, do not expect admins to invite you; wait.
o Guns are a bit buggy. Report gun bugs on the FORUMSITE, not to an admin on the server. There is practically nothing we can do while the server is running.
o Make sure you are using guns properly before reporting a bug. Both the weapon AND the ammunition need to be in your hotbar to fire the gun.
o The fact that you cannot build, break, mine, farm, or eat cake is INTENTIONAL. We want players to focus on the Fallout aspects, and on RP.
o There is to be NO KOS (kill on sight) ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, EVER. In fallout, music plays when you enter battle mode, so you know whats coming. Give players a five second minimum warning when attempting to attack. The ensuing battle will NOT result in IC death.
o IC Death will not be allowed for the entirety of the Soft Release, except in cases where both parties give OOC consent.
o Faction specific quests are NOT to be handled during the Soft Release. We are sorry you have to miss out on this experience.
o Player made factions aka Groups, will not be allowed during soft release.
o Factions cannot take Goodsprings as it is spawn town.
