ABOUT US
The Forgotten Realms Project, is an ambitious Creative Project, attended to build a conclusive and authentic Fantasy World based on the stories written by our members.
That sentence describes us best. The only thing we are doing on our Server is actually building. That’s what we do and we do it for more than 1 1/2 year so far.(October 28th 2011) What we build is ONE World, consisting of TWO huge continents:
Eldarvaria and Ferrodwynn.
Both are built in different fantasy/medieval/renaissance/baroque styles, employing structures and landscapes at the highest level in architecture and passion.
'A Nation Arising'
Ferrodwynn is the largest City in the fictive world of Forgotten Realms.
It is probably going to become the biggest medieval/baroque Fantasy city with an enourmeous level of architectural understandment. Franco1991 and others created this extremely authentic city, with it's own long and neat alleys, huge cathedrals and different historical styles. The project is still in progress and may never finish though we can already say that is is insane.
Arenthor is a a quarreling Kingdom forged after a great and bloody war in order to ensure peace and harmony between the peoples of the continent Eldarvarya.
In the year 371 AEL (After Ephylium's Light) the great War of Fate flare up as the colonizing party of the Ylyryans established their own new religion as the one and only for everyone and the Southern Kingdom Thorm negated that.
After many bloody battles and enormeous losses the Ylyrians won the War at the Great Battle of Gryffonhell - a vastly fotified city in the center of the known world. When the contract of peace was concluded, Gryffonhell was devastated and has been renamed to Watch's Fall(aka. Wachsturz) and thenceforth was permitted to be entered.
As a symbol of mercy and fraternity the southerns have been pardoned with the admission to rule as kings under the reign of another Ylyrian King.
More then 300 years went into the lands and the harmony between the Sovereign Families increasingly strained.
Tolls and barries emerged and bridged have not been kept in good conditions any longer.
And on top of that, the southerns secretly started to worship another God and establish sinister plans while the winners of the war, the People of Yllyium dream of an incredible Empire beeing their own.
