Welcome to Halo, Spartan. This server is based on the xbox game Halo, and uses a custom plugin to simulate a Halo xbox live experience. The game features an armory in which starting guns and helmets can be purchased with in-game currency, ordinance weapons that can be found in-game in arenas or scavenged from fallen foes, clans, and an EULA compliant shop that uses Enjin Points for currency. Halo MC has a large variety of Halo-themed original arenas, as well as VIP arenas. All Halo MC gameplay is player vs player Team Deathmatch. Now with Spartan Ops/campaign, Sandboxes, and Grifball!
Server Features
Team Slayer
Halo MC includes many arenas in which players are assigned one of two teams, red or blue. Players fight the opposing team with weapons from many different Halo games and the first team to 25 wins! Teams are assigned with respect to clans, but priority to somewhat equal sizes.
Spartan Ops
Aside from Halo MC's Team Slayer, Halo MC also includes Spartan Ops missions in which players can fight with each other or alone against the Covenant to complete missions and earn Spartan Points.
Grifball
Grifball is a gametype in which each player has a gravity hammer and a sword. The objective is to score the ball in the enemy goal. Crush enemies with your hammer to defend your goal and blaze a trail to theirs, first team to 5 scores wins!
Sandbox
Halo MC's Sandbox feature allows players to create their own mini-arenas and invite friends to play in them. Each player has
one sandbox in which they can build, set spawn points, set ordnance weapons, and start games in. Sandbox also includes game types SWAT, Snipers, and Slayer. (The owner of the sandbox can change game type) In Slayer game types, the owner can also change the guns a player starts with.
Clans
Players can create "Clans" at a cost of 25 Spartan Points and recruit other players in their clan. Clans have their own stats, name, and color. Players in clans are more likely to be on a team with their clanmates in Team Slayer, with priority to somewhat even teams.
Armory
Halo MC's hub includes an armory in which players can purchase shiny new helmets or better weapons with Spartan Points. Spartan Points can be earned by completing Team Slayer games or Spartan Ops missions, and gun purchases will determine the weapon players start out with in each game.
Ordnance Weapons
Aside from the loadout weapons that can be purchased in the armory and that players will start with each game, each arena in both Team Slayer and Spartan Ops include weapons inside of item frames that can be picked up and used in-game. These weapons include the DMR, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, Energy Sword, Beam Rifle, Railgun, and Battle Rifle. Ordnance weapons can also be placed by players in sandboxes.
