[JiF]'s Direwolf20 server is a new survival server.  PVP is currently enabled throughout the world however if it gets out of hand we will designate certain areas for it.  

A few features of our server:
  • MyTown2 - Protect your building area by voting for the server, to claim you land!
  • Free LAVA!  Build a white/white/white ender tank to get free lava, no need to pump the nether.
  • Custom Spawn with example items, command, help, and other info/rules
  • Shops are coming soon.
  • Not too many banned items
  • Teamspeak 3 server available for use while you play

Here are the rules of JiF, which has been around since 2001!  The rules have not changed a lot in that time.

Everybody
  • NO Cheating Allowed! Cheats are NOT to be used by anyone who enters any JiF server! FYI- if we consider it a cheat...then it's a cheat and you will be banned!
  • No verbal bashing of public players or fellow team members. Friendly banter is fine, don't be rude.
  • Inactive and AFK players will be kicked if they do not respond.
  • No abusive swearing in the Server or the Forums.
  • If you have a problems with anyone on the server please post on our forums or e-mail an admin.
Admins
  • Admins are to moderate all players and not to run any admin commands on fellow players unless absolutely necessary.
  • All offenses deserve a verbal warning unless they are blatantly causing trouble and disturbing everyone, cheating or trying to crash the server, etc.
  • Gag someone for repeated text spamming and/or anyone who gets out of control verbally. If the offender is still causing problems then kick them.
  • When a player does not stop or respond to an admins request/warning then warn them with an available admin command.  If they continue to be a disturbance then kick them.
  • If a kicked offender comes back and starts up again then a 10 min to 24 hour ban is to be done.
  • If anyone is banned for more than 24 hours post a topic in the related admin forum with the time/date and a brief description of why that person was banned.
  • If another Admin is dealing with a difficult person, let them deal with it unless they ask for help. Work together as a unit to keep the game going.  Rules of the Jar and play etiquette are all subject to change at any time.
