No Hacked Clients


No use of hacked or game play changing clients whatsoever. If we have enough evidence of you using hacks in one of our servers, you will be banned. The length of your ban will depend on the situation.






If you have suspicion of a hacker, notify a moderator in game or on the forums, or on Teamspeak. Furthermore, you can record it yourself and post a abuse report on the forums.






No Spam or All Caps


We do not appreciate spam of any type. The minimal of this is sending 3 of the same message consecutively within the space of a few seconds. Spam also includes garbage messages (mashing the keyboard), posting many punctuation marks in a single message, or single lines all of one number/letter/punctuation mark.






We do not allow for the use of ALL-CAPS in game. It spams and clutters the chat and furthermore it is annoying. You wouldn't go around shouting all the time in real life so don't do it in game.






No Swearing/Foul Language


No EXCESSIVE swearing is allowed on our network, however, enforcing this rule is very difficult which is why we allow profanity on our server. But when a moderator sees another player in chat expressing themselves with extreme profanity, you may be temp banned for 1 day.


Players of all nationalities play on the MineCheap, and as such we welcome all languages in chat. However, if you wish to speak to a moderator, we recommend speaking English, as all our staff speak it.


This rule also extends to usernames. Usernames containing foul language, swearing, racism, sexual content or anything else deemed offensive or inappropriate are not allowed on our server. 






No Trolling


Trolling on our server can take many forms:


Do not attempt to kill players with a plot trap on our Prison server.


Do not pretend to be a member of staff on the server. This includes claiming you are staff, threatening to ban a user or otherwise blackmail them. Impersonating staff will lead to a severe punishment.


Do NOT pretend to have hacks, claiming to have 'kill aura' or anything like this is only done to troll somebody and is not allowed. If you do claim to be hacking, you may be mistaken by a staff member which then results in a permanent ban. Please refrain from doing so.






No Advertising


Do not advertise any websites/links that are not from the MineCheap forums, Youtube videos of MineCheap content, or Livestreams (eg Twitch.tv) of Velocity Gameplay. Do not advertise other Minecraft or Teamspeak servers at any point. Advertising another minecraft server will result in a global ban from the server. At no point should you ever advertise another minecraft server nor should you hint to join one. Advertising YouTube channels, or Twitch channels will result in a 30 minute global tempban.






No Exploiting Glitches


No exploiting any sort of glitches which are not meant to be in the map or plugin. This may include glitches such as getting outside the map. These affect gameplay, and if you are caught doing so, will be punished. The punishment may range from being kicked from the game, to being banned from our servers.


Server Glitches:


OPFactions: You are not allowed to spawn items that can give you money boosts. For example, spawning in Cocoa Beans with /I will result in a 14 day tempban.


Prison: Teleporting to the mine level above your rank will result in a 5 day tempban.










No player disrespect


MineCheap hosts players from across the globe, from many different countries, religions and races. As such, discrimination in any form will not be tolerated. We will not allow; racism, sexism, ageism, remarks about disabilities or religion, or any other types of discrimination. Punishment for offenses of this sort will be severe. 






Respect our Staff (This means you can't keep challenging them in the hub! Take it politely to the forums...RESPECTFULLY making your case). If you believe a moderator is breaking the rules or misusing their permissions, collect evidence and contact a Moderator. If you believe a Moderator is breaking the rules or misusing their permissions, then collect evidence and contact MineActiveGaming, the server owner about it.






Our helpers and moderators do not get paid to moderate the servers, they have offered up their own free time to help out. Do not abuse them, in the same way we expect you to not be abusive to one another.










Do not harass players


This is where you will deliberately taunt/insult a player to make them angry, this is similar to trolling. This also includes following a player from server to server JUST to annoy them and harass them. This can also, in some extreme cases ignoring all game objectives for an extended period of time and other players with the only intent of killing that player above anything else.
