MineResort

We recommend the following to all new players:

Explore the server:

Take a moment and look around, and see what others have built to give you some ideas. Also, look at potential places for you to build. You may build anywhere that isn't protected or occupied. You may type /warp freespace to find places in which players have created builds throughout the server.

Set a home:

When you find a place at which you want to establish your home, type /sethome. This will allow you to warp back to your home at any time by simply typing /home.

Making money:

This is the most important part of being successful in MineResort, and can be the biggest source of frustration to new players. Making money is very easy, if you know how. The best way to make money in MineResort is to sell materials in our item shop. To begin, type /shop. Explore this shop, as you can buy and sell any of the materials displayed here. Many players will sell netherrack to the shop by taking a pickaxe to the nether (type /nether) and gather as much netherrack as you can. Sell it to the shop, and you are on your way.

Being a part of the community:

Beyond making great builds, being successful in MineResort means being a community-minded player. Be friendly and courteous. Help others when they ask, as others will often help you. The more you do this, the more you will enjoy this server. And if you ever have questions or need help, ask a member of the staff. We're always happy to help.
