From the same developer of NavalBattleZone...High Caliber is a new project and a complete recode that focuses more exclusively on realistic ship and submarine combat, World War 2 and before, 1:1 MC scale builds, custom resource pack, and realism.

You can find both naval shipbuilding and naval combat on this server...you can...

1. Build a realistic 1:1 Minecraft scale ship using our custom resource pack, textures, and models to build the finest looking ships and interiors in Minecraft. Build in a protected plot with our Shipyard system, and enjoy the convenience of WorldEdit to help you do large-scale builds.

2. Sail as crew or captain onboard a ship using our Navycraft plugin (similar to Movecraft style movement). Man the cannons, fire the torpedoes, watch the radar and sonar, and perform repairs on your ship. No mod downloads required, though we always recommend Optifine.

3. Do both! Build your ship in the drydock, and then test your ship in Sea Trials. Test your weapons, perform armor tests, speed tests, and then recruit a crew and go on a mission.

history
Though not specified, the server has a custom coded server plugin created by MaximusPayne. It allows for actual movement of the ships, which can be anything from a measly dingy to roaring battleships! Be forewarned, the mechanics seem complicated at first, but don't let this scare you away, it is much easier once you learn the basics, trust me. These mechanics include working cannons that consume ammunition, which differ in sizes from 20mm(smallest) to 18in(Biggest), torpedos, submarines, ships(obviously),working radar, detectors, sonar, hydrophone, radios, fire control, horns and sirens, damage control, steam engines, diesel engines, hybrid engines, and much, MUCH more! Again, its a lot, but once u learn it, incorporate your own style, and have fun with it, you can do some pretty amazing stuff! Right now we aren't that big, but we have some big hopes for the future of the plugin and the server, so even if you can't join us now, stay tuned for the future of what's to come, were always happy to get new players! ~LCDR BallisticIce318
