Loosely based on Swedish Coastal Battleship (Coastal Defense Ship), Sverige.

The Iron Maiden is a 1930s based ship, which is fully functional on the NBZ: High Caliber server.

At 5,600 tons, the ship is powered by pair of 2 magna boilers feeding pair of Steam Engines. The ship has two propellers, since only one boiler & steam engine can power a single propeller pushing the ship. She features Class 1 (Harden Clay) Armor. (This considered to be medium armor for warships on the server) The armor is evenly used on her hull and superstructure. Her broadsides' have a torpedo blister to help it weather strikes from submarines and destroyers/fast attack torpedo boats.

She has crew of 112 (NPCs count to that number, 11 active during non-combat situations, while at battle stations, the ship's guns, engine room, navigational stations are manned fully).

Primary a anti-surface combatant, she is armed with four 10 Inch Heavy Cannons mounted in two turrets, with twelve 4 inch guns in Ten smaller turrets.
Additionally she has mix of 40mm and 20mm anti-aircraft guns, manned by AI (NPC villagers) crew members. While, not intended for the mission, she does have a pair of projectile anti-submarine K-Guns mounted at the stern.

This ship was submitted as part of one of the many contests the Minecraft server runs.

She been noted to exceed 26 knots on her test runs. (This is actual speed of measurement as she moving per "click" of the server.)

In her additional trials, she fought the server's large Castle Cruiser and was able sink it all three times they fought. She did end up needing to be scuttles two of those encounters due to excessive damage from fire. However, being a coastal battleship, she about the same as the Castle.
