Welcome to the Nikandros hub server! Here, we strive to be the best we can be, distinguishing ourselves from the competition.
We have tons of fun features on the server, so let’s begin with those!
The original Nikandros server!
Reveal
This is our original server, where Nikandros first started! This is a prison
server, where you work your way up through the ranks to become a Free
member, where you’re then allowed to go explore the Free world! Through
Towny, you can create towns to compete with your friends, or even join
existing towns to start!
Our ranking system in the Prison is unlike that of any other Prison servers’.
D-Block (Starting rank)
You start out as a lowly D-Blocker, where you get access to a single mine,
the D mine, along with the D mine’s treefarm. Here, valuables are pretty
scarce, with diamonds only appearing once in a blue moon. Here, you’ll
learn how the prison system works, and figure out which method of
earning money works best for you.
C-Block ($20,000)
You’ve
made it out of the D-mine, nice! Now, you have access to the C-mine
which has a significantly higher chance of finding valuables. You’re
sure to get at least a diamond or two per mining trip here. Not only do
you now have access to the C-mine along with its treefarm, you can now
rent a cell in the C-block, away from the newcomers of the prison.
B-Block ($50,000)
Hey, you’re almost to Free! With an even richer mining experience and
treefarm, as a B-blocker, you now have access to the Fishing Grounds,
along with the newly redesigned B-block cells! You’re nearly done with
your journey through the prison ranks, you can do it!
A-Block ($80,000)
You’re so close to being Free, you can taste the fresh air! The A-mine has the
best non-VIP/non-Free mines in the prison, so getting money should be a
breeze. This is by far the most lavish part of the non-VIP prison, so
make sure to check out all the hidden easter eggs in here!
Free ($50,000)
Congrats, you’ve done it! You’ve finally mined enough money to purchase your
freedom, and you’re now able to explore the Free world in all its glory!
What will you do? Create a town? Create MobFarms? Heck, even go back to
mining? You’re free to do whatever you please, the possibilities are
endless!
Prestige
Here’s where our ranking system becomes something completely unique to the
Nikandros Prison experience. We have a Prestige system, akin to that of
Call of Duty.
See, once some members become Free, they think that they’ve completed the
entire Prison experience, and now only the Free world is the only thing
to do. To prevent that, we’ve created a system that, once you’re Free
ranked, will allow you to reset your items, money and rank and drop back
down to a ~special~ D rank.
You’ll work your way back through the ranks, with an increased rank price.
Your prestige playthrough should be even more fun, now that you have all
the basics of Prison life down.
There are three Prestige ranks, meaning that you’ll be able to reset your
rank a total of three times before you’re finally at the very end. Only
the most dedicated players will ever be able to reach this rank, so be
sure to congratulate them for all their hard work!
In short, the rank system works like this:
D > C > B > A > Free (Prestige 1)
*D* > *C* > *B* > *A* > Free > *Free* (Prestige 2)
-D- > -C- > -B- > -A- > Free > *Free* > -Free- (Prestige 3)
