Founded in October of 2010, Project Genesis has existed in one form or another for over five years, and in that time has developed a very strong and dedicated community of friendly people and talented builders. Our focus has always been on having good times in a chill, relaxed atmosphere that feels almost like a second home. Our server's culture is very relaxed and permissive, not always family friendly, and occasionally raunchy, and may not be the best for young children, but for older players who are not squeamish about swearing, bawdy jokes and general rowdiness, this just may be the place for you!
We currently run 1.9 with a more or less "Enhanced Vanilla" play style with a large world full of awesome things, and several smaller, fascinating custom generated lands all reachable by a well-developed rail, road and portal network, just waiting to be explored and developed!
Rules:
Standard Minecraft server rules apply. Do not grief. Do Not Grief.You will not get away with it. We have been doing this for a very long time, and have numerous plugins installed to log and monitor everything you do while logged in. If this is your goal, try somewhere else, because your only achievement will be being added to our already sizable
Griefer Graveyard, the resting place of all the people we've banned for griefing, theft, or just general stupidity during our server's long existence. Swearing and crudeness is permitted, and even encouraged, but blatant racism, sexism or homophobia will get you in trouble. Don't go into others' houses without asking, for any reason, ever. Don't steal. Etc, etc.
The full list of rules can be found here and you are expected to know then. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse!

I can say so far that this was indeed a "Good Choice" of a server (yes that is actually another achievement you get on the server :3)
I rate this server during the first 5 minutes of my stay a solid 9/10. It's not 10/10 because you fucked up the food dispensary which is unacceptable in the vast holy land of food...
