How does Rekindled Legacy work?

Upon joining, you will enter the frontier town of Avalonia after leaving the spawn portal. It is up to you if you want to become a citizen of the city of Avalonia, or if you prefer to head out into the wilderness to establish your own settlement.
Form alliances, dominate in trade or warfare, explore unique regions or massive caves.
But beware, war might be looming around the corner. And the world of Alphara has not forgotten the sins of your people. Their forces will do everything to cripple the world of Avalonia for their own protection.
You could also travel to Alphara and raid these hostile cities. Good loot may await you there.

When players make a settlement, they are able to set up resource builds for weekly resources and various other structures for army creation, traveling options, mob spawners and many more.
The map is separated in regions to make traveling and army movements more realistic.

History of Rekindled Legacy:

In 2013 a group emerged on minecraft. They were known as "Silence". For several years they had been active in multiple factions and roleplay servers.
A few years later, Nodas1995 decided to write a story about this team to remember all that happened. This story slowly grew into a large fantasy series named "The Silencians".

In 2016 our team joined the Lord of the Rings mod, made by Mevans. On here we had been on many servers as well, trying to establish our empires with both good and evil aligned factions. But as time passed, we started to crave our own server with our own rules and mechanics.
And so, the server of Arda's Legends was eventually formed.

This first server had a rapid increase in players and the events and dungeons were loved by a big part of the Lord of the Rings mod community. The result was a very stable and active server that lasted well into 2025.
But as it often happens, I, Nodas1995 saw my old server diverse from it's original path. And at a certain moment I gave the reign to a few other trusted friends so they could move on with the server in their vision.

Several months later, quite a lot of players were asking me to make a new server in the image of the old one. And so, Rekindled Legacy came to be.
For a long while, Rekindled Legacy had a stable playerbase and it was full of events and competing nations. Especially the Utumno sieges and dungeon clearing events were widely popular.

The Lord of the Rings mod was getting older, and it's community was shrinking. And once the creator of this mod vanished, it's community splintered into several smaller groups. New mods came under construction, and many of the mod related servers emptied out. Including ours.

So, in 2024 we decided to move away from the Lord of the Rings mod. And after several trials we now have a vanilla minecraft server with the world map and lore from "The Silencians". But made in a way that the players can shape their own stories.
