Romecraft Settlers is a heavy roleplay server based in ancient Rome around 200 BC. Our mission is to provide a server in which you can live and build in a Minecraft version of Ancient Rome! With factions, missions, dungeons, and RP scenarios; we are trying to provide the best Roman experience in Minecraft around.

The year is 180 BC. Our journey starts in suburbs of roman city of Aquileia, where a group of romans seeking for fortune lead by Gaivs Ivlivs Sextivs are making final preparations, before they embark on their journey to newly conquered land of Illyria. When they finally reach the shore, they start building new settlement and Gaivs names it after his wife Salona who didn’t managed to survive the journey. Shortly after their arrival they got in tribble because Illyrian tribes didn’t want to give their land to them and Greeks from nearby settlement are quite hostile towards them. The conflict leads to occasional fights and one night Illyrians and Greeks under command of Greek officer Ballios and Illyrian Nobel Narik loot the settlement and enslave some citizens. Later a garrison is stationed near by to protect the settlement and punish uprising tribes. But after some time most of legion went forward towards to conquer new lands and just a few legionary’s are left behind. Greeks and Illyrians see this as opportunity to get rid of roman settlers.

On server are three available factions: SPQR (settlers), Greek settlers and Illyrians (tribe). The time will run on, 1 year will equal 14 days. Events will be on Fridays and Saturdays.
