A Stormroot world. Running since 2013.
A Minecraft survival adventure built for exploration, atmosphere, and lived-in lore. Custom monsters, custom weapons, custom systems — all in service of a place that feels alive when you step into it.
The world
The old regime is gone. The realm has scattered. People have built new homes at the edges — cities, factions, quiet farmsteads, harbors that map themselves to weather and rumor. Dark currents move under the surface. So does much else. You decide what to do with both.
Build a kingdom. Join an existing race, guild, or city. Walk a class — mage, fighter, cleric, ranger, wanderer, merchant. Captain your own ship and chart unmapped coasts. Or simply live here, learn the land, and let the world surprise you.

Age of Storms is a long-relationship build, not a sprint. I have many systems running and many more in development — looking for a partner (or partners) to help shape skills, battle systems, lore, magic, monsters, and dungeons. If the world speaks to you, reach out.

Under the world
- Attributes (STR, INT, DEX) — earned through quests, dungeons, and use. Each shapes which skills open to you.
- Race system — Deluvian races alongside elves, dwarves, and stranger kin. Races age up over time, unlocking new abilities and buffs.
- You are what you do — no class menu. Your role emerges from how you spend your time. Hours at the forge make a smith. Nights in the spellbooks make a mage. The world reads you by your habits.
- Natural skill gains — Mining, lumberjacking, smithing, combat proficiency. Use them, level them, unlock rarer ores, deeper woods, and abilities tied to each craft.
- Customized combat — Vanilla mechanics layered with swing speed, accuracy, dodge, and leveling proficiency.
- Customized weapons — Magical, runic, gem-imbued. Hundreds of thousands of permutations.
- Customized crafting — Custom ores and woods, imbuements, repair and upgrade paths on top of vanilla.
- Custom monsters — Classic RPG fauna alongside creatures invented for Deluvia.
- Magic — The arcane arts run deep here. Thousands of spells, organized by the Circles of Knowledge and the elemental powers of Deluvia.
- Custom textures, GUIs, HUDs — Including a custom mana bar that grows with your Mana Regeneration stat and depletes as you cast.

I've been working on custom game mechanics for for nearly two years now and it is so refreshing to be away from other plugins and design every part of the game so that it integrates as one whole. Things are getting faster as I am getting better at understanding Denizen and everything it can do. I am faster at writing code and making it do what I want it to do.
Late in 2021 I converted everything over to Bungee, which was a little hassle, but I hope it pays off as it distributes the server realms across many VPSs in hopes that there is less lag, and that a crash on one server, still leaves the other worlds up and running.

Lore and character narratives have been focused on as well giving the guest a more immersive experience. I've been adding some specialized mobs and dungeons, but they are WIP.
