seriously do not join this server. theres no rules against raiding and towns are REQUIRED to protect your stuff and making a town is very costly. moderation does not do much if anything in this server thats actually useful and after getting kicked out of a town for no reason (losing all my stuff) they didnt do anything and when i asked in chat for some money to make a town i got warned for "begging". do not join this server.

  • Finally, a server that ACTUALLY gives a true towny experience! None of the boring golden shovel nonsense. As far as plugins go... this server rocks because admins/devs are creating their OWN plugins (mofood, in progress rework of dungeon). Ofc, the server also has other engaging plugins like mcmmo, pyroming, pyrofishing, SLIMEFUN, and even more. Oh, did I fail to mention this server even has an art plugin!!! Trust me content-wise this server is packed to the brim.
  • You may be thinking... "Sure, the server itself seems ok, but what about the player base?" I'll have you know this server's player base is very healthy. Accepting BOTH Java and Bedrock players (yes, I sometimes play on my Switch). Not to mention the staff team is very helpful AND supportive. Tbh I haven't had more interactive staff team in ALL the towny server's I've played. For the most part, other server staff (I'll leave my previous experiences UNNAMED) like to IGNORE new players and leave them to fend on their own.
  • If my speech thus far hasn't convinced you to join, EVEN just to check it out, SURELY this will. The PLAYERS, not just the staff, the PLAYERS like to host events as well, giving away tens of thousands of their hardearned cash and valueables just for YOUR enjoyment. And that's not the end of it; players that have gone inactive (over a LONG period of time) or have failed to keep their town upkeep (money is very easy to come by) will be prone to being raided. The amount of goodies I've collected over the years of playing this server have been insane (raking in an easy 8 MILLION PROFIT in one raid).
  • As much as this already sounds cool (ikr) there's EVEN MORE, the staff like to host their OWN special server wide events just for players like you (skin comp, head hunt, art comp, soccer tournament, the list could go on)! And oh, worried about your beloved build? This server has NEVER reset in all the years I've been playing (4 years with over 3000 hrs of playtime). Compared to other servers, this server is a blast. What's amazing is that there's even MORE I have failed to mention (ofc I've probably already strained your eyes enough reading my grand speech about how AMAZING this server is). So, without further ado, I leave you to enjoy what The Cavern has to offer! Hope to see you soon! o/

...just shows that someone was edgier in their past, but in these peoples' cases, they haven't really changed. Crazy enough, some of these members have been caught in the past with banners depicting the nazi flag and the SS (Schutzstaffel) symbol on them, and pretty much only got slap on the wrists from the staff. Another incident occurred in the global game chat, with one of these members praising Francisco Franco, the former fascist dictator of Spain. There are other small details you may find, like one of the members of this community having the phrase "Herr" in their username, which means "Mister" in german. This alone isn't necessarily a red flag, because it could just mean they speak german, but due to this player's history and past context, I feel like this name has a bit more weight to it. When I brought all of this up to staff a few months ago, they kind of just brushed it off and said 'they would look into it,' and never did. Recently, after I got into an argument with one of these people, I get banned for bringing up how they were nazis. In fairness, you shouldn't talk about that sort of stuff on a server that is supposedly 'family-friendly' with a 'welcoming and friendly' community, but when your staff team repeatedly ignores that the biggest nation on your server is run by nazis, it brings up the question as to whether or not this server is 'family-friendly' and actually has a community that's so 'welcoming and friendly'. If you're looking into this server, I'd suggest looking somewhere else.

yep, i agree. i think that anyone looking into this server should stay as far away from it as possible. i tried joining it to play and i was immediately met with hostility and rudeness, all because i wanted to build my own town instead of joining one. i had a group of 5 people telling me that im stupid for wanting to play that way, and that if i dont like it then i should "go find another server" because im "not welcome here". there were also a lot more unnecessary things said to me, all of which were being supported and condoned by two different staff members.

this server was the most toxic community that i have encountered in my 10 years of playing minecraft.
