The D.C. Project Server is is dedicated to creating a fun but educational environment to help young and old learn about the functions of the government as set out by the US Constitution. Minecraft is becoming an educational tool, and the Ward Initative is taking advantage of Minecraft to help deliver a great educational experience.

At the moment we have a very strict plan until the server is open, until our July 4th un-whitelist date you will have to wait. Don't worry though, as soon as the server has been un-whitelisted we will be sure to notify you. Also make sure to subscribe to http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/the-washington-dc-project/ to recieve updates regarding the map itself.

Currently it is restricted to just a few people until the main pieces of Washington D.C. have been built, then we will open it up to everyone else. Our expected date to remove the whitelist is July 4th, which does have to do with our date of Independence. An announcement will be posted when we are open to the public.
