The Story of Takistan

Takistan Classic is a large-scale open world action-adventure minecraft gamemode, inspired by the once-very-popular Arma 2 (and 3) gamemode of the same name. It is set in the imaginary Nation of Takistan, an Arab country. It is not a wealthy nation, mostly due to it going through a serious civil war just 5-6 years earlier. With thriving gang and terrorist culture, a profitable drug trade, and a corrupt government, it is not the nicest place to be.

Your Role

Along with the help of your friends, you can rebuild the once great nation. Earn a usually peaceful living, by working in the mines and selling your materials, fishing in Lake Rasman, and trading goods around for profit. Or, earn a usually violent living, by breaking into and robbing the Takistan National Exchange, killing enemy players, and fighting bandits in the gang areas. Or, do both. You can also explore for the treasures in the country, fight for dropped loot, make alliances, and much more.

Spend the money you make on one of over 240 houses (which you can store gear in and use as a place to hang out), dozens of firearms and weapons (pew pew), different types of armor, as well as more gear. If you have a donator rank, then you can also spend your exp on enchantments for items. Overall, there's a never ending amount of activities to do. You won't get bored.

The first thing that you will notice when playing on the server, is how vast the country of Takistan is. Although it is sand-covered drylands, it spans a wide set of terrain, such as flatlands, mountains, cliffs, steep hills, and fertile regions. Be sure to tour and explore the country when in-game, as knowledge of the map is a very beneficial trait, and exploration is generally rewarded. How to Connect (hub.gh-mc.net or play.gh-mc.net)

To join Takistan Classic, just connect to hub.gh-mc.net and either walk through the waterfall inside the large Sandstone Mosque, or right-click the compass in your inventory. But, since you are already on the website, head over to the server store and get a rank for special benefits listed over there, and/or buy some Takistan Dollars to give you a financial advantage over other citizens of Takistan.
