The Waffle Jar is a Role-Play server. The server is online 24/7. The Waffle Jar is anit-grief if you're in a town; we have mature and friendly staff members who monitor and protect the server. If someone has griefed you in a town, ask a staffmember to rollback the culprit.

The server has its own economical currency called Waffles. The currency is an important topic on the Wafflejar:

You can obtain Waffles by: Using the global shop; using players shops, receiving money from your shop or guild, helping other players, refreshing the topic, playing Mini-Games, gambling, selling plots and completing quests.
Things you can do with Waffles: buy plots, buy items from players or the global shop, hire players (to do jobs for you), gamble, buy guilds and buy towns!

You're always allowed to build a shop on your plot. You can make your own prices, so this is a good way to earn money. You should attract other players with colourful signs, leading to your shop.

We've got several towns. You can buy your own town for 100k Waffles. You can also buy plots in towns, just ask the owner or the staff. The towns are safe and mobs won't spawn inside them. So enjoy your stay in a town!

We have got several mini-games built by players and staff-members. For example, we've got the graveyard mini-game and we're working on the hungergames mini-game! Ideas for new mini-games are always welcome! Ask BreakingMC, an in-game admin.

The Wafflejar has a partysystem! If you're in a party, you can talk in your partychat! This reduces the overall chatspam and it's easier, because only your party members can hear you!

On the Wafflejar, you can accept quests! Currently, this function is off...

Furthermore, there are a few dungeons on our map! They're extremely hard to clear and you can get alot of Waffles and items in there. They're difficult, because you cannot enter the dungeon with armor!

~HOWTOJOIN~
When you join The Waffle Jar, you will start in a small room. You'll have to do a survival test in order to get a promotion. During your quest, you will see some signs that will give you information and helpful tips. Choose the path with the right sign next to it. If a sign says something that isn't true, ignore that side and choose another side. Once you have reached the top, you'll find a sign. Click on it, and you will get promoted. Type /spawn to enter the real world. You will start with 500 Waffles. Now, ask a member to give you a tour (if they haven't already offered one yet). You can live in the wilderness (but you aren't allowed to lock your stuff there!) or you can live on a plot in a town (you'll have to pay for one, but you're allowed to lock your stuff here and other players aren't allowed to grief you there). Just follow the path and you'll see a portal, which will lead to the gate-hall. In the gate-hall, you can go to all the towns and other destinations, like the minigame-hall (for example: 2ships, spleef and thehungergames) and the guild-plaza. Pay the owner of the town (or a staffmember) if you want to buy a plot (a free plot is a plot without a sign!). If you need further help, type /help [#] or ask a (staff)member.

~SERVERRULES~

Rule 1: Don't break the global rules or the city rules!
Rule 2: Griefing, stealing and killing is only allowed outside city-limit (plots in cities are safe, but you'll have to pay for them
Rule 3: Don't hack or trespass
Rule 4: Don't build 1X1 towers or 1X2 tunnels
Rule 5: Keep the server clean and tidy

Rule 6: Don't violate, use inappropriate language, or disrespect someone

Rule 7: Don't spam or advertise

Rule 8: You're allowed to use lava and tnt (no firespread and blockdamage!)

This is a amazing server! first off i get a amazing welcome from everyone then after reading the rules i was able to get straight into a plot because the staff are kind and seem to be always online . I was able to have nice conversations with the community and create a nice home in my plot to live inside! Overall, this server has a great team of staff and a wide range of things to do.
