Twisted Sin

Our server

Twisted Sin converted from vanilla to Feed The Beast. We're using the Direwolf20 modpacks. It contains over 60 mods. You cannot login to Twisted Sin using the usual vanilla launcher, you will need to get the launcher from feed-the-beast.com website.

Our community

We are a helpful bunch, though we don't spoon-feed our players. The team of admins and moderators like to have fun as well, while trying to keep things in order, and keep projects coming along. We try to keep a community of members who are mature, respectful and cooperative. We have members of all ages, parents, students, etc. Many have families and real life obligations o we are all here to have a good time with others, not at their expense. We build all kinds of things, we come up with ideas and we experiment. We hang out with friends in this place we can call home.

Our Spawn area

Your first appearance on the server will be in a closed room in the Twisted Sin Spawn Town (work in progress). From there, you can right-click the [Info] Starter Message sign for instructions on how to get started.

The registration process is quick and automated; this lets you start without having to wait for an admin to be around. After registration is completed, you will be able to warp up to the surface of Spawn Town.

In the building, you will find kits you can use to get you going. More will be coming.

Our plug-ins

In addition to the mods contained in the Direwolf20 modpack, we implemented certain plugins. Below are some of the plug-ins you will notice the most.

Towny
Found your own town and, why not, nation? Protect from destruction what is built within your town by claiming plots of land, a.k.a. "town blocks". The size of your town depends on how many "town blocks") you claim: the size of a "town block" is 16 by 16 blocks. You can set the rules that apply to each plot or for your town as a whole: decide who can activate switches (doors, chests, etc.), if people can teleport to your city or not, if firespread it on or off, etc. There are many options available to you with Towny!

Secure Chest
Tired of worrying about people going through your chests? Worried about who can walk through your building's front door? Secure Chest takes care of that for you. You can customize the access of your chest and manage the permissions of several chests at once. You can find more about Secure Chests by tying /sc in game. A really nifty plugin that lets you use chests with peace of mind.

Other activities

Twisted Sin has its own radio! We broadcasts music (though not continuously for the time being) and other projects are considered for the future of the radio. You can tune in through the menu bar of our website or use your player.

The Arena is in the making. It's a challenge between players in the middle of monsters, under the eyes of any audience attending. The audience can watch the match from the safety of the balcony running all around the Arena battle ground.

The Pyramid has not been begun yet but is coming sometime down the road. It's a challenge run by SephirothWS, where you attempt to reach one of the treasure rooms. Doing so, you will face many dangers and traps in the Pyramid maze, but the victors will unlock a treasure and see their name on the Pyramid's Wall of Fame.

Other projects are coming up, namely Ender Dragon events when the number of participants allows it.
