Vanilla Essence II, the second iteration of Vanilla Essence. Just like its predecessor, veII is a Minecraft server that strives to provide the best that the survival experience of Vanilla Minecraft, along with interesting add-ons that enhance the overall experience of the game.

We use Bukkit/Spigot along with many custom coded features, which help create the unique experience from just Vanilla and a bit beyond what most consider to be the basic Essentials.

Come spend some time with us, and you'll discover a mostly peaceful, build oriented community that is flexible and open. You will find a variety of play styles and interests, while we do have PvP enabled, it is not our core focus.

We are developing and showcasing a Battle Arena system, based off of KitPvP that does not alter the experience in the other worlds. What happens in Battle Arena, stays in Battle Arena!

In addition to the above, we have our own currency system. Engage in our regularly occurring and diverse challenge system to start earning iron coins right away. Once established, you will be able to buy your own plot in our custom created shop world. What's different from standard vanilla servers?

Every time you mine a block, there is a chance of finding special chests that contain valuable treasure. Loot chests come in several tiers of rarity: common, rare and legendary.

By visiting the custom villager market at our hub world, you can obtain special armor, tools, weapons, unbreakable items, mob eggs and much more! Our economy system is comprised of iron coins, gold coins and an intriguing voucher system.

A unique set of challenges are always active on the server for every player to join. Each challenge has several objectives and tasks that need to completed. The winners are rewarded with special loot chests, coins, armor, tools and weapons.

A custom menu for each player that displays your progress on the server. You can like other players and put a custom description in your menu. A recent addition and an enhancement from veI to veII is the Player Analytics system. Each player can be given access to detailed metrics about their play time, their statistics, claims, homes and premium - purely cosmetic - packages that they have acquired.

Compete with the most highly skilled players on the server for the top three places on the leaderboards at spawn. View their stats and your own via a custom in-game menu. Like other players and discover who has liked them.

Accessibility

Much can be said for doing everything the hard way, a truly unaltered experience. But after having covered all the aspects, from just establishing yourself, to clearing the End, at some point your time becomes precious and you just want to dive in. Love to build? Well now it's easier to share your creations, because players can request to teleport to you, and you can deny or accept. So no more spam from players asking if staff can port you around, and no need to spend hours just navigating from point to point, just to share your playing experience.

A new addition the accessibility component is ease of access to locations in the Overworld, Nether and the End. You won't go straight to the major points of interest, but you will have an easier way of getting there. It's still up to you to Survive!

Rules

• Be friendly, promote a positive attitude and always be respectful, especially to the Staff!
  
• If you are a new player, please read your new player book!
  
• Please keep swearing to a minimum and never insult other players directly.
  
• Do not escalate a situation, try to resolve it when you have the chance, let us help you!
  
• Do not engage in mass or extensive griefing.
  
• Do not build inappropriate or suggestive structures, designs or skins.
  
• Building above the Nether Ceiling is Prohibited.
  
• Do not TP trap or use TP to endanger or take advantage of other players.
  
• Do not repeatedly send messages in chat.
  
• Do not advertise other websites or servers.
  
• Do not accuse others of hacking without evidence.
  
• Do not use alt accounts for your own advantage.
  
• Do not use offensive or inappropriate skins.
  
• Do not use glitches and exploits to your advantage.
  
• Do not use hacked clients or X-Ray resource packs.
  
• Do not try to be coy, in other words, do not be provocative or push the limits of the rules, you will be banned.
  
• We do not allow alternate accounts on the server, as they provide an unfair advantage & will be banned.
  
• RACISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
