WE DO NOT NEED ADMINS OR MODERATORS. Regular players are able to ban players who break the rules. In this way, this is a community-run server.

PVP is against the rules except with other consenting players, or to defend yourself.

No swearing please. Kids play on this server.

I moved this server to a new address, partly so it's easier to remember, and partly because I needed to move it off the same box that's serving minecraft1-7.com, because serving both is lagging both.

PVP has been turned back on, so players can defend their bases. The server has been updated to 1.6.2 and the spawn has been rebuilt by volunteers. It was so cratered by creeper explosions that it was almost impossible to spawn at night and survive. Otherwise, everyone on the server plays in survival mode. The explored territory of the map now spans almost 20,000 blocks from spawn in every direction. There are looted and griefed structures all over. Craft a boat and go exploring!!

Had to change the server settings because so many players were ignoring the request for no PVP. I no longer consider this a "snapshot" server, so I'm turning off PVP using the (still vanilla) server properties file. Still no mods or hacks, just MC 1.6.1.
