Stuck in a world with nothing but a simple kit and a few resources, the player must survive against hordes of zombies that are impossible to outrun, hostile players trying to steal your stuff, and of course, the environment. You can choose to work alone, lead a gang, or join a gang. Whatever choice you make, your story will be unique.
After a long few weeks of development, ZomBPvP is finally ready for the public! Unlike most servers, ZomBPvP is a very unique, well-created server. The server is like a DayZ server without the strange guns or thirst or confusing mods, with a Factions/Raiding core, but unlike factions, enchanted armour and swords etc. are quite rare, making them a novelty item. The most you can get from a donator kit is Protection II and Sharpness III as we believe that non-donators should have a chance at becoming strong. Crafting of enchanting tables is disabled however these can be found in hidden goodie chests around the map and you can guarantee there will be one in our weekly "Raid Event"!
This raid event occurs once every Friday at 4:00PM New York time (9PM UK Time) and involves "cannoning" into a large "government" facility. What the facility is can vary, sometimes it is an underground vault, other times it can be a military base full of hi-tech equipment such as level 30 enchanted diamond armour.
The player starts in a United Nations Zombie Department Laboratory, where he has been taken for experiments and testing due to him being immune to a deadly Zombie Virus. After his friends (who are in a gang) manage to make a few holes in the walls here and there, he must escape whilst battling endless (literally) hordes of zombies and other players who have found an opportunity to break out. After finding a way out of the laboratory slash military base the player must decide what he will do next. He will be able to buy and sell items using /shop. One of his gang member friends will allow him to sell "drugs" on the global black market (which is now booming due to the gradual breakdown of society) for a high price. The player can also decide whether he wants to keep the drugs for his own use, as the drugs give boosts such as speed. The drugs are:
Ghast tear: Gives regeneration / speed effect
Magma cream: Gives fire resistance / resistance effect
Fermented spider eye: Gives water breathing / jump boost effect

- No silly mods and guns like other DayZ servers
- mcMMO enabled with a cap on the skills
- Wood and stone sword crafting disabled to provide players with an incentive to work harder (go underground)
- Enchanting table crafting disabled to prevent too many OP items in the server
- Anvil and brewing stand crafting disabled as well
- Zombies are the only hostile mob that can spawn
- Bows rare due to lack of string as there are no spiders (they cost $10,000 at the portable /shop command)
- Drugs replaced by potions (potions are disabled)
- No teleportation apart from /f home, /home and /tpa
- Zombies run as fast as the player and are stronger, and poison and blind the player temporarily when they hit you
- Raiding / griefing is encouraged
