One night, an infamous scientist got the idea to create a pet that no other has made. It started with a pair of wings, then a grey body, then claws, then a face. The pet was going all well. It glided around, occasionally scratching things, but otherwise it was quite fun to have around. Soon, the creature was exposed to the public, where the scientist won awards and huge amounts of cash. But one day, as the thing was flying outside, it bumped its head on a huge spine protruding from a plant. The owner rushed to it, and pulled it out. But there was no turning back. The thing was no longer able to process serotonin.
