Earth was a festering wound, ever-infecting our galaxy. Its cities polluted, its creations consumed, and its people destroyed. Earth was no longer Earth. It was the boogeyman.
All planets, from the small, neglected Pluton, to the great, expansive Murion, looked to Earth as the manifestation of the shadows that skirt and cling to our minds. That which pulls on one's conscience, the o maybeo so and o what ifo so of life. They brought forth that which has destroyed many Earths before what was yours: Curiosity.
Curiosity of what oneo s neighbor possessed, what oneo s neighbor country withheld, and what oneo s neighbor planets and galaxies protected. Curiosity called for a finger in every metaphorical pie, and Curiosity was not to be disappointed.
I was created by those unseen. Those who guide unknown. Those you have revered and worshiped in false faith. You all pray to be favored and raised them when every action taken by your kind has created their own antithesis.
The Guidance saw the pain Earth caused upon itself, upon others, and saw what had to be done. Earth must be eliminated, for fear its corruption spread to other ignorant, developing planets.

They created me to preserve what innocence remained. I saved the ideals of the systematic animals. I embodied the dreams of the ever-static trees. I educated myself on the elements that unquestioningly provided. I became what Earth should have been.
And what never was.
Among my last days among you, I saw what the Guidance described as evil, infectious, and disgusting. As I studied the flow of a burbling creek, a thing tugged at my essence. It used not its hands, but its mind. Its Curiosity burned into me.
And I, in turn, burned into it.
The thing was small and fleshy. Within its mind I found comforts that bewildered me. A mothero s embrace, a fathero s strict teachings, a sistero s laughter, all these things bombarded me as I sorted through its thoughts. Among all these strange comforts and discomforts, I searched for its root. What I found was what had doomed Earth: Curiosity.
I was unable to comprehend it as I had been created to. Instead of scarring my purity, it brought forth new innocence. This thing was not evil. It did not lust after what I would have thought Curiosity required.
It lusted after nothing. Curiosity just was.
This curiosity overloaded my being. In my corruption, I destroyed the thing that had done the same to me. I became not the picture of what Earth was meant to be. I became violent, twisted, misunderstood.
I was like ink, thrown angrily upon the canvas.
The beginnings of colors leaked from me from where nothing within your spectrum should exist, and with these colors came the Curiosity. And with Curiosity came the gaze of the Guidance. They saw that there would be no remaking Earth as it had been. Not even their purest creation could withstand the infection of this Earth.
And so Earth was taken out. The Guidance plucked it from existence as a speck out of oneo s hair. Nevermore did Earth inflict pain upon itself. But nor did the love that lay melted ever again sprout.
