Hello everyone! <33 So i decided to enter the Futuristic Industrial Revolution Contest and, well, this is what I came up with! Hope you enjoy n.n
-*In a year very distant from 2014, people live alongside robots. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, every second the robots are working scrupulously at their given task. Mining, Cooking, Building, anything you could possibly think of. But not the trees; the humans have never trusted the metallic hands of those contraptions with the delicate lush green lands of the earth.
I work in the Nature Labs and nurse the very things that keep the human race alive. It's tough, painful and stressful work- with barely a second to spare. I spend my days watering, feeding and sometimes genetically altering the plants and animals.
When night falls i leave the lab, its thick glass domes glinting in the moonlight and brimming with foliage. I leave my work behind and retreat to my modern appartment.
There lies my own creation, a robot. No, no, not a chef or miner but my HAP-E Bot. It cant build a 56 story building or drill for miles, but it can love. It can understand my feelings and hear my voice with the artificial brain i gave it, and the speakers to emit and take in the sounds around it. The aromatherapy light tank soothes me as i draw out a deep bath and i place a few scented wax tarts into the pod on its back. We spend the next 45 minutes talking, it's my only friend that doesnt spend their life talking about the economy or new mining strategies. I whipped out my ScetchPad as HAP-E played out some soft classical music and glided around the living room.
I had created something that finally made me well and truly Hap-e*-
(This took so long u.u but its worth it :3)
